I need yer wisdom on this...............
I know you are of much knowledge on such things. My key lime tree is growing like there is no tomorrow, which is good. But it bares no fruit? Is this a male tree?, Should we keep it for just purdy or is there some ways to make it bare fruit?

How long have you had it? Key limes usually start producing in about their third year.

Itsa bout 4 years old I think. Had blossoms on it in late fall but never any fruit. From what I remember if it gotz blossoms it should bare fruit?

Sorry to be so long in replying - Just got back from the land of Shobubes Snagbeeds.
Any how I don't know where you got your tree from but they sometimes won't bear fruit for 6 - 7 years. I assume you do cover the little darling when the temperature dips - remember 28 degrees for 4 hours and the little booger goes deep six.

Ok, Greg and Victor brought this lil darlin out last January, as in 09, from Naples Florida to here. Blossoms nice and lives inside during the winter but lives out side during the sumnmer and spring, mid fall. Never let it get cold as I remember from my youth you told me that 28 and 4 means dead for the citrus fruits. So I iguess we shouldnt worry and just let it grow? Moving it inside during the coldest, below 32 times?

It should do okay if you take it in below 32 - 28 for 4 will not only capture your fruit it will off your little darling.
It was prolly a couple years old when Greg got it so just be patient with it and you may live to see it produce.
If they brought it from naples they got it at a nursery here and it should be okay - the ones that don't seem to do well are the ones from mail order houses.

The foliage is wonderfly thick and its very lush and green. Seems to like living in the master bath tub. We are hoping it will bare fruit this year but if not it sure is just pretty to look at.

Hmm, the stuff you sent last time was great, I think it was Joe and Pennys, or some thing like that. Supposed to be squeezed and growed in key west, but prolly from homestead and squished by feet.................
